Creativity with paint has been a lifetime love of self-expression coming from my heart and soul. I am grateful for the talent God has given me and I feel compelled to share it in any way I can. For me painting has become somewhat of an obsession. As I paint and study the composition with darks and lights and various shapes, the painting takes on meaning and purpose for me. From this meaning comes the motivation to create again. And the love continues. It is a process that brings me much pleasure.

My special fondness includes oil painting, reverse glass painting with pen/ink/oils and gourd art with acrylics. My very latest creation is making hand painted spoon necklaces.

I attended Ohio State University in Fine Arts and Otterbein College in Business Communications. Currently I am a member of the Ohio Gourd Association and teach art classess at Friendship Villages, Worthington Christian Village and the Delaware Senior Center as well as teaching in my home. Every Saturday, May through October I sell my artwork at the Sunbury Farmers Market. My husband Noah and I live in Galena, Ohio. We have six daughters and 15 grandchildren.
